Thanksgiving is a day for gratitude—

but I’ve been thinking about how much promise it holds, too.

Promise that life can shift in ways we didn’t expect.

Promise that healing can arrive quietly, even in the middle of chaos.

Promise that we can keep creating, even after a year that asked so much of us.

There’s something about this time of year that feels like a gentle turning point.

A moment to notice what’s still here,

what’s changed,

and what might be unfolding next.

A reminder that endings aren’t just endings—

they open room for the unexpected,

and sometimes offer a chance to rewrite the very story we thought was already set.

Tomorrow isn’t just a holiday.

It’s a small invitation to believe in what could be.

To trust that the next season of our lives can be softer, steadier, and more aligned.

To remember that hope is allowed back in.

Gratitude honors what has been.

Promise honors what’s possible.

And right now,

I’m holding both.
