After the rocky path, the horizon opens wide, lit with promise, possibility, and the extraordinary still ahead.
After the rocky path, the horizon opens wide, lit with promise, possibility, and the extraordinary still ahead.

The journey through heartbreak

and layered betrayals has been excruciating.

It tore me open in ways I never imagined,

leaving a soul rupture I had no idea how to fill.

But everyday I kept waking up

and choosing me.

I started breath by breath,

minute by minute,

choice by painful choice—

like setting out barefoot across a rocky shore.

Choosing not to collapse.

Choosing not to go back.

Choosing to believe the extraordinary still lies ahead.

Every step was uncomfortable—

each one sharp, unsteady,

but still carrying me forward.

With each decision,

with each small act of courage,

momentum began to build.

I've learned—

What feels unbearable at first can become strength.

What feels impossible can become habit.

And what feels like loss can open into

breathtaking destinations—

like reaching the soft sand and vast horizon,

where the pain of the path fades

and the beauty of what’s ahead takes your breath away.

And at last, you stand

where the world is wide,

and the waves carry your name.
