This was not normal. This was not me. And I will not apologize for naming it.
This was not normal. This was not me. And I will not apologize for naming it.

I have never had a relationship explode the way this one did.

This was not normal.

This was not me.

This was lies and deception lit like dynamite,

detonated in my hands,

causing a soul-rupture.

I was fed half-truths and empty promises,

a story so convincing

I believed I was safe,

I believed I was chosen.

And then—detonation,

exploding my lived reality,

ripping through my body,

splitting open my sense of truth.

This was not the ending of love.

This was sabotage.

Calculated.

Cowardly.

Cruel.

I am angry because I deserved better.

Because I was steady,

loving,

wholehearted.

And the truth I gave was met with layered betrayals.

I have never had a relationship explode like that—

because I have never been with someone

who built a bomb out of lies

and called it love.

From the rupture came clarity,

from the wreckage, vision.

I am already building the life I was made for—

wide open,

radiant,

Mine.
